The Soul of Petaluma
Chartered in 1858, Petaluma is one of California’s oldest cities. Much of the city was spared in the devastating San Francisco Earthquake in 1906 and even the newest buildings downtown are reminiscent of the city’s historic past.
Innovation is at the heart of this place. Known as “The Egg Basket of the World,” Petaluma is renowned for its innovative and sustainable farming practices. With the world’s best ingredients all around, local chefs have thrived. A foodie destination within a foodie destination, Petaluma’s culinary scene is creative and artistic, just like the community itself.
To celebrate this, culinary innovation is built into every aspect of the hotel. The lobby looks more like a residential entertaining space. Guests can interact with kitchen staff throughout the day as they prepare for the evening’s dinner service. Pantries stocked with locally roasted coffee, fresh noshes, and craft cocktail kits prepared daily by our mixologists delight guests on every guest room floor. Maker Spaces feature culinary demonstrations and other artistic presentations. The food, wine, and cocktails at the rooftop bar are as spectacular as the accompanying views of the Petaluma River.
